Enterprising employees

Companies and organisations increasingly expect their employees to operate in accordance with their own insights. This results in improved service and therefore leads to higher levels of customer-friendliness. All in all, this process progressively turns employees into small entrepreneurs focusing on the customer. Employees themselves experience increasing need for personal development, causing them to seek more challenge and freedom for their entrepreneurship on their own account. Naturally, the fact that humankind is continuously changing contributes to the process as well.

 

For instance, we have free access to ever-improving information due to the Internet. We have become more critical and more independent, and we display greater levels of nerve and assertiveness.

Lifetime jobs can no longer be guaranteed, because product and service demand are subject to rapid change. This in turn affects standards for certain abilities of both employers and employees. Facts are that everything revolves around meeting the desires and expectation patterns of customers. Employees with an entrepreneurial spirit are best able to tap into this. It is important to employers to have employees think for themselves on how to best reach their goals. Make your employees co-responsible for final results. By allowing a degree of freedom, activities are implemented at maximum efficiency.

In addition, providing freedom is known to increase people's efforts and solution orientation. By giving employees greater challenge and responsibility, this will not only result in better efficiency for customers and enterprise, but to increased employee satisfaction as well.
